Founded in 1991and based in Bordeaux, France, Serma Technologies offers top-level electronics consultancy to a wide range of customers in the aeronautical, space, automotive, transport, railway, telecom, military and contract manufacturing arenas. The company specialises in analysis and control of components, sub-assemblies, finished systems and select end-applications. Some 170 engineers and technicians located in three facilities provide in-house specialist expertise, all with the ability and experience to make an enormously positive contribution to customers’ product development, reliability and security. Services provided by Serma include; technology analyses and qualifications, failure analyses, smart cards testing, electrical tests & characterisations, semiconductor processes reliability & characterisation testing, qualification programs and IC modification with FIB. The company performs more than 6,000 physical and electrical evaluations per year.

Electronic Technologies Management (ETM®) 
Encompassing reliability assurance, problem solving, obsolescence management, technology logistics support and dedicated reliability assurance for specific circuits, Serma Technologies’ ETM® program optimises its customers’ application of electronic technologies. The program delivers comprehensive ‘modular’ assistance throughout the product life cycle covering all key process aspects including; R&D, industrialisation, production, marketing, OCM (Operational Condition Maintenance / Product Support) as well as supply chain issues such as materials procurement, sourcing, obsolescence issues and quality assurance, etc.
