Stereo DAC features 112dB Dynamic Range and an Integrated 2Vrms Driver

A best seller in the Ismosys on-line store, the Sabre Premier Stereo DAC (part # ES9022) adds a 2Vrms output driver D/A converter to ESS Technology’s Vista™ family of high-definition audiovisual products.

With a patented Hyperstream™ architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator, the ES9022 supports 24-bit conversion with up to 192kHz sampling rate and delivers jitter-free studio quality audio with 112dB of dynamic range.

The ES9022 features an  integrated charge pump and operates from a single 3.3V supply to drive a ground-centered 2Vrms output. By eliminating the need for an output op-amp filter, DC-blocking capacitors, a mute circuit or multi-rail power supplies the ES9022 slashes the overall system BoM. In addition, the ES9022 output level is adjustable via an external resistor, enabling custom output levels to be defined below 2Vrms. Pop-noise is eliminated through comprehensive suppression on power up/down, mute and reset.
