Product Overview
SST is a leader in offering non-Pb (lead-free) products. All of our Parallel Flash, Serial Flash, Combination Memory, Embedded Controllers and Communications ICs products are offered with a non-Pb (lead-free) environmental option. All of SST's lead-free products are RoHS compliant.
- Flash Memory
Flash memory plays a vital role in virtually every electronic device by retaining stored data even when the power is off. SST's NOR flash memory is ideal for code storage applications, where low power consumption, high reliability and fast read speed are paramount. All SST flash memory products are based on patented SuperFlash® technology, the success of which is evident in more than 13 billion devices shipped by SST and its licensees worldwide.
Serial Flash
With a large selection of products, SST serial flash is your source for small-footprint, extremely low-power and cost-effective flash memory. For embedded designs that require code storage, SST offers serial flash for SPI, LPC or 4-bit multiplexed I/O interfaces, and is one of the only companies to offer a full 1.8V serial flash product portfolio.

Parallel Flash

Ideal for cell phones, including entry-level handsets, GPRS modules and handheld GPS devices, ComboMemory provides small, cost-effective storage with an enhanced feature set. With SST's ComboMemory, the term "entry level" no longer has to mean limited functionality.

NANDrive™
NANDrive is an award-winning, high-performance, fully integrated, embedded flash solid-state drive. This single, small-footprint device combines a NAND controller and NAND flash to offer reliable, high-performance data storage for a wide range of applications. By using standard ATA/IDE protocols and built-in flash management firmware, NANDrive does not require any special host software.

Power Amplifiers
SST power amplifiers (PAs) utilize highly reliable InGaP/GaAs HBT technology to provide the consummate solution for a wide range of wireless applications. The high linear RF output power and low DC power consumption of our PAs allows for wireless systems with a longer transmission range at higher data rates for extended periods of operation. Each SST PA provides a high dynamic range and a temperature-stable power detector that eliminates the need for external detector circuitry.

Flash Microcontrollers
SST's flash microcontrollers are designed to help customers meet the size, power and performance requirements of next-generation electronic products. Featuring SST's SuperFlash® nonvolatile flash memory cells, the flash microcontrollers bring enhanced user experiences and convenience to consumers by supporting functions such as In-System Programming (ISP) and In-Application Programming (IAP), which enables programming "on-the-fly" to reduce cost and improve time-to-market for manufacturers.

NAND Controllers
